SGDIY Absolute Beginner's Kit + Glass Set
SGDIY Absolute Beginner's Kit + Glass Set
This is a great value starter kit to get you going in the right direction to start your very first stained glass project. Comes with 10 sheets of glass so you can start making that first project right away.
This ABSOLUTE BEGINNER'S KIT includes the following:
One standard Fletcher glass cutter
One pair running pliers
One pair grozing/breaking combo pliers
One Hakko 503 soldering iron, 60 watts
One roll of 7/32" silver back copper foil tape
One carborundum grinding stone, 9.75" length
One roll 1lbs. Amerway 60/40 solder
One bottle 8oz. Novacan liquid flux
One flux brush
Ten glass sheets - a mix of colors, textures, and two clear sheets for practice. 7 sheets 6x6, 3 sheets 5.5x6 (due to dividing original large sheets evenly)
After a few projects and becoming more familiar with your tools, you may want to consider upgrading some of your items. I started this same way and am still using some of these tools and materials to date.
We are working with a stained glass supplier/wholesaler to bring you some good savings with this kit. Your purchase helps support Stained Glass DIY and our local stained glass supplier instead of directly going to Amazon. Thank you for your consideration!
Notes: Safety glasses are recommended when cutting and grinding. Wet the grinding stone or submerge in water during use to eliminate glass dust. Solder in a well ventilated area. Wash hands after handling solder and do not ingest.
Shipping: This package ships via USPS/UPS Ground. Allow 1-2 business days for processing. We hand pack everything out of our California warehouse and shipping times is currently 2-10 days depending on your location. Flux is considered a chemical and can cause delays in shipping. Please note we cannot ship to any PO BOX addresses.
Returns/Refunds: If you have any problems with your order, we will be happy to help you. Please contact stainedglassdiy@gmail.com and I will personally see to it that we fix any problems or concerns you may have. In the end, we just want you to have fun making glass!
